FAQ
Straight answers.
The short honest version of everything people ask. Anything we missed lives in plain English inside the app — never in fine print.
Membership
Do I need a membership at each gym?
No. One Gym Plus Plus membership covers every partner gym in the network. No per-gym contracts, no keycards, no sign-up desk at each location.
What plans will there be?
Two. Everyday covers every partner Gym in your city. All-Access covers every Gym plus every Club — the spots with pools, courts, and saunas. Rates are announced at launch; waitlist members see them first. Compare the plans.
Is there a signup fee?
No. No signup fee, no enrollment fee, no annual fee. The monthly price is the whole price.
Are there family, student, or trial plans?
Not at launch — one simple membership per person. If that ever changes, waitlist members hear about it first.
Can I share my membership?
No — memberships are personal. Check-in shows the front desk your name and photo, so a borrowed phone won't get anyone else in.
Check-in & access
How does check-in actually work?
Open the app at the gym, tap check in, and show your phone at the front desk. That's it — you're in. See the full walkthrough.
What if my code expires while I'm in line?
Codes refresh automatically in the app — show the fresh one, or read the desk the current 6-digit number. Every code is single-use, so an old one simply stops working.
Can I go back into the same gym later that day?
Yes, free. Same gym, same day — walk back in as many times as you like. It never counts as a second visit.
Do I need cell service at the gym?
You need a connection for the moment of check-in — your code is generated live for that exact gym. Gym Wi-Fi works fine.
Does my membership override a gym's own rules?
No. Hours, capacity, dress codes, and amenity policies belong to each gym. Your membership gets you in the door under those rules.
Billing & plans
What's included every day?
Your first partner gym each day is included in your membership. Want a second gym the same day? It's a small flat add-on — shown in the app before you check in.
What's the difference between 12-month and month-to-month?
12-month is the lower rate in exchange for committing to a year, billed monthly. Month-to-month costs a little more and you can cancel anytime — your membership simply ends at the close of the billing period.
Can I cancel?
Month-to-month plans cancel anytime — you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. 12-month plans run their term at the lower rate. Cancellation lives right in the app, not in a phone call. And every new signup has a three-business-day window to cancel for a full refund.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, right in the app. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, so you never lose time you've already paid for.
Will there be fees I don't expect?
No. Any add-on is priced on screen and confirmed by you before it's charged, and your statement lists every line. Nothing is ever charged silently.
Clubs & amenities
What exactly is a Club?
A Club is a partner gym with premium facilities — pools, courts, saunas, steam rooms. All-Access includes every Club; on Everyday you can visit one as a pay-as-you-go add-on. Compare the plans.
Does every gym have a pool or sauna?
No — amenities vary by location and are run by each gym, not by us. The app lists exactly what each spot has, so you can decide before you drive.
Can a gym charge its own extras?
Some gyms mark specific amenities as extra — a specialty class, tanning, towel service. Those are the gym's own fees, labeled clearly on its profile in the app, so there are no surprises at the desk.
Privacy & safety
What about my location data?
Location is used only in the moment you check in, to verify you're actually at the gym. No background tracking, no route history — ever.
What does the front desk actually see?
Your name, your photo, and a green check — enough to wave you through. Never your plan, your payment method, or what you paid.
What happens if someone abuses the network?
Gyms can flag problems straight from their portal, and we can restrict repeat offenders from a gym or from the whole network. Every gym stays in control of its own floor — that protection runs both ways.
Launch & cities
When does Rochester go live?
We're onboarding launch gyms now. Waitlist members get one text the moment the app goes live — founding members are first in line.
I'm not in Rochester — when do you get to my city?
Join the waitlist anyway. Every signup is a vote for your zip code, and the waitlist literally decides which city we open next.
I own a gym — how do payouts work?
You earn on every unique member visit-day at your agreed network rate, with monthly statements exact to the penny. Everything for gym owners is here.
